Using the tools

The tools on Toolbench are free to use for personal and commercial work. You do not need permission to use a result in your own project, quote, or job.

Accuracy and responsibility

We work hard to get the maths right and we show the formula behind each result so you can check it. Even so, these tools are estimates and planning aids, not professional advice. Real projects vary: material waste, local building rules, site conditions, prices and product specifications all change the answer.

Before you spend money or commit to a job, verify critical numbers with the product manufacturer, your supplier, or a qualified professional. We are not liable for losses arising from decisions based on a result from this site.

Availability

The site is provided as-is. We do not guarantee it will always be online or that a tool will stay available forever. Tools that nobody uses get retired.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• send automated traffic, scrapers, or load intended to disrupt the site
• republish a tool as your own
• use the site for anything unlawful

Content ownership

The text, design, and tool implementations on this site are ours. The results you generate with them are yours.
